Motorola Droid Shadow pulls an iPhone 4G, lost and found at Coporate Verizon Gym.

Verizon is getting ready to push the Android 2.1 update to HTC Eris phones soon, although they haven't released a date they have released information about the update and what will happen when you update. Like other Android phones, the Eris will get the update over-the-air (OTA) and it will be mandatory.

I love to find Alpha/Beta software links early in the morning, whether they be for Android, Mac, PC, or any other OS, but I especially love finding ones for apps that I want to use.

We just received the news release for the HTC Incredible. A demo unit should be on the way so look forward to a review as soon as I get it. Read the news release after the jump.

According to Verizon, the "test users" got the update yesterday. There have been rumors that a few people claim they received the update but are not sharing the update.zip file, probably because they are under an NDA.

According to an email that I received from a contact at Verizon the update will be released shortly, just not yet.

The guys over at Android Forums have a sticky dedicated to the 2.1 update, which should be hitting a group of test individuals' phones in a few hours. Keep an eye on the sticky as Trident (the OP) is going to be posting a link as soon as someone gets the update.zip file to him.

After receiving the PDF outlining the 2.1 update from Verizon, it looks like we have a leak on the date of the OTA. The below screenshot was posted on AndroidCentral.com March 16 around 10PM, and it looks legit to me.
